All documents are encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 encryption. Only you can access your files through your authenticated account. We never share or sell your data, and you maintain full ownership of all uploaded content.
Your documents remain private by default. Only the proof details (hash, reference ID) are recorded on public blockchains when applicable. You control who sees your documents by sharing verification links selectively.
Blockchain certifications typically complete within 15-30 minutes depending on network congestion. NFT minting may take 1-2 hours. Biometric certification requires an additional verification step and usually completes within 24 hours.
A hash is a unique digital fingerprint of your document. Any change to the document — even a single character — produces a completely different hash. This allows anyone to verify the document hasn't been altered since certification.
We support PDF, PNG, JPG, DOCX, XLSX, and TXT files up to 50MB. Enterprise plans support additional formats and larger file sizes. Contact us if you have specific format requirements.
You can delete your uploaded file from Authentica, but the certification proof on the blockchain remains permanent — that's the point! The hash proves the document existed, even if the original file is later removed from our system.
